Can I make an Appointment to try on bridal gowns?

  • Absolutely! Although we will take walk-ins whenever possible, it is highly recommended you make an appointment to ensure we have a bridal sales consultant available to you. You can make an appointment by calling (512) 596-LOVE / (512) 596-5683 or email us at amourbridaltexas@gmail.com.  You can also now book appointments directly online: BOOK NOW! Please allow 24 hours to confirm appointment. 

  • Please note that we do take a credit card to confirm your appointment. Should you need to cancel, please do so at least 24 hours in advanced otherwise there will be a $25 cancellation fee.

 

What do I need to know about my appointment?

  • Appointments are typically 90 minutes.

  • We recommend wearing your hair up or down as you will on your wedding day, with make up and jewelry to help you best visualize yourself as a bride.

  • We recommend limiting your entourage to 2 or 3 close friends or family. We will always accommodate large parties, but it can often be overwhelming and make the decision process more confusing when there are too many people. We want  this experience to be as stress free and fun as possible!

  • If you have your wedding shoes already, bring them. If not, that is certainly OK!

 

What styles do you carry?

  • We offer a wide range of styles for wedding dresses including Ball Gowns, A-line, Mermaid, Fit & Flare, and Sheath. If you already have some dresses in mind, please bring some photos and we will help you find those gowns or similar gowns.

 

What is the price range of your gowns?

  • Our wedding gowns range between $600 - $2200, however a majority of our gowns are below $1500. 

  • We also will have regular sample sales where you can purchase some of our sample dresses at heavily discounted prices.

 

What is your return policy?

  • ALL SALES ARE FINAL. Because most of our dresses are special ordered based on your specific size and preferences, we do not accept returns.

  • Sample dresses are sold off the rack at heavily discounted prices and are also non-refundable.

 

What sizes do you carry?

  • Most of our sample dresses will be sizes 10-16 and we will have some plus size dresses as well going up to size 32 and some smaller samples as well. We will clip the dress as necessary to help it form to your body so you will see what the dress will look like once it is sized to your measurements.

 

Do you carry plus size dresses?

  • Yes we do! Our selection of plus size samples is growing rapidly! We carry plus size best selling samples in all our designers as well as dresses from the Julietta collection which is designed specifically for curvy brides! 

 

When should I order my gown?

  • Since our dresses are done by special order, they do take several months to arrive. You should order your wedding gown at least 8 months in advanced to leave plenty of time for alterations. Often when we go to order or check inventory we will find  a dress in production already or even in stock, which means we will get it much sooner. However to allow yourself all the options its best to plan well in advance.  In some cases, we may be able to do a rush order, but additional charges may apply.

 

Do you do alterations?

  • At this time, Amour Bridal does not do any alterations. You may take your gown to an alterations specialist of your choice. We are happy to recommend some great specialists in the area. Please visit the  preferred vendors page.

 

How do I pay for my gown?

  • A 50% non-refundable deposit will be required when we order the gown and the remaining balance will be charged when you pick up your gown.

  • We accept cash, Visa, Master Card, Discover, and American Express. You may pay the deposit with a personal check, but we will not accept any checks for the final payment.

  • PLEASE BE AWARE THAT ALL SALES ARE FINAL.

 

Do you ship out of state?

  • We sure can! Extra shipping charges apply.

 

Do you offer gown preservation so I can keep my wedding gown in pristine condition?

  • Yes we do! We offer preservation through The Wedding Gown Preservation Company. They do NOT sell online, please only go through an authorized retailer. All you have to do is bring your gown to Amour Bridal, pay  the service fee and leave the rest up to us! We will even have your gown shipped directly to you at no extra cost! Amour Brides will get a discount on this service. 

 

Why don’t you sell your gowns online?

  • Please be aware that the designers we work with do NOT work with any online retailers (with the exception of Gather and Gown). If you see one these designers sold online for a lower price, it is most likely a knock off gown or pre-owned. We strongly discourage ordering your gown online because there is so much fraud. You could end up with a dress completely different than advertised.
